Hmmm….sometimes when we walk into a commercial office we may have caught the tail end of what really took place.  But I’ve witnessed similar situations.  Never quite this bad, but almost.  One time a manager had me move the actual thermostat into his office while leaving a dummy thermostat in place where it was so his co-worker thought they were still controlling the thermostat.
